The 55th Annual Convocation of the Aligarh Muslim University

 9th April, 2004 at the Athletics Ground of the University

 Dr. R.A. Mashelkar, Director General, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) will be the Chief Guest and deliver the Convocation Address.
Justice A.M. Ahmadi, Chancellor of the University will preside over the Convocation.  A.M.U. Vice-Chancellor, Mr. Naseem Ahmad will present the Annual Report.
Students who have qualified for the award of the degrees of the University in the year 2003 (Under-graduates, Post-graduates, M.Phil., Ph.D., D.Sc. and D.Litt.) in various faculties will receive the degrees and medals.
The first Convocation of the University was held on 28th December, 1922 and
presided over by Sultanjahan Begum of Bhopal as its first Chancellor.
