CHALLENGING CLINICAL CASE NO. 10/2001
A 70 year old man is brought in by his wife because of invereased drowsiness and generally confused thinking over the past 2 months, Prior to a seemingly minor motor vehicle accident about 2 months ago, the patient had been running a small business without difficulty. There are no focal or lateralizing signs on neurologic examination. A noncontrast CT scan of the brain is normal except that there are no conrtical sulci and the ventricles are small.
