    A child comes to you with a sore throat, shivering, pyrexia, headache and vomiting. O/E :- Tonsils are enlarged and are covered with follicular exudates. There is tender enlargement of tonsillar lymph nodes. There are rashes which appear first behind the ear and rapidly become generalized punctate. Face is not affected by rashes.
